Chakra means "wheel" and we have to keep the wheels moving. Our Chakras are energy pools within the body that can become stagnant or stuck when we go through life pushing beyond our limits. Using yoga to not only release blockages and refresh the energies, but also using meditations to bring awareness to each Chakra - we can tune in to each one and find where we are out of balance. Chakra imbalances can be connected to physical ailments in the body, emotional traumas we are holding on to, and of course the energetic issues that surround those emotions and ailments.
